As a Halliburton Principal Professional of Mechanical Technology, you plan and conduct projects with wide latitude for independent action. You advise and handle field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services. You direct analysis, modification and designs for several projects of major magnitude and scope. Reliability, Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality analysis techniques are used during the design process. A desire for variety in working conditions is essential, as this job occasionally involves physical exertion, outside work and may include routine travel.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline and a minimum of seven years related experience and Design Engineering, including experience in Mechanical Downhole and/or Mechanical Service Equipment are required for the position. A graduate degree in mechanical engineering and Professional Engineer's license are preferred.
