Title: Engineer Software

Provides software programming support to other systems, software and/or aeronautical engineers on a variety of technical tasks associated with USAF’s KC-135 and RC-135 weapon system’s aircraft performance changes. Programming languages may include C, Object-Oriented Pascal, Ada and others.
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions. Ensures software standards are met.
Basic Qualifications:5 years with a Bachelors in Science or Engineering and avionic software development experience.
