          Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Operations/Laboratory Administrative Director, the Medical Technologist performs a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests on body fluids and substances, requiring independent judgment, with speed and accuracy. The efforts of the individual(s) in this position, in collaboration with other health care professionals, provide data for the most accurate diagnosis or individual treatment of diseases for optimum patient outcomes.

          * Requires Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent
          * ASCP Registration strongly preferred
          * Computer skills, printers, fax machines, phone system operation and photocopier
          * Posses both a working and theoretical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and procedures
          * Minimum of 5 years hospital or clinic experience
